Body changes during adolescence can be confusing and we at AYAM are especially trained in understanding the physical, hormonal, and emotional aspects of growth and development for both males and females. At times, body image concerns and worries about sexuality-related issues may emerge related to these changes. As experts in the adolescent physical exam through the early, mid or late phases of puberty, we are able to evaluate pubertal timing, body changes and growth and determine situations requiring further evaluation.  When necessary, we are happy to coordinate evaluation and care with endocrinology specialists.  We are ready to medically assess and look at the whole picture and to plan a strategy of care that works for you!
